HOTEL TERMS & CONDITIONS
Check-in time is 2pm. If you arrive earlier, the Receptionist will be pleased to store your luggage until your room is ready.
Guests are required to present a valid credit/debit card upon check-in along with a valid form of identification, especially if you have already prepaid by a credit card your reservation before your arrival. We require valid contact information from the guest making the reservations including first and last name, address, phone number, and signature. The names of all guests occupying the room must be registered. Information regarding your license plate/ car description is also gathered at check-in for security.
Long Bay Beach Resort (“Long Bay” or “LBBR”) will make every effort to honor special requests (such as specific room number, roll-away beds, crib, etc.) upon arrival. However, the availability of these items cannot be guaranteed in advance.
Should you need to confirm an earlier arrival time than the hotel standard check-in time, please contact the hotel directly in advance and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Check-out is at midday. If you require a later check-out, please contact the Receptionist before 11am on the day of your departure, and we will do our best to accommodate you but cannot guarantee it will be possible. A charge may apply depending on availability.
Any delay to check-out without prior approval will result in an extra night plus any applicable taxes being added to the final bill.
Long Bay can accommodate guest luggage at the Reception after check-out time if needed.
Pre-payment: 50% Deposit due at time of reservation.
Balance due 14 days prior to check-in date.
Cancellations: 14+ days’ notice, 100% refund less processing fee of $100 plus taxes.
14 – 07 days’ notice, 50% refund less processing fee of $100 plus taxes.
0-06 days’ notice, no refund
Holidays will remain same at 60 days.
There will be 10% Service charge for every room per night.
During holiday season (December 21 – January 16) deposit will only be returned if cancellation is made more than 60 days prior to check-in.
In the event that the hotel is unable to accommodate dates booked due to COVID-19-related border closures guest will be eligible for rebooking or full refund of deposit.
EARLY DEPARTURE POLICY
In the event of an early departure, all originally confirmed room nights will be charged.
A valid passport is required for entry into the British Virgin Islands. Meals, beverages, hotel service charges, room taxes, ferry, airport transfers, and activities are not included in the room rate unless otherwise specified. BVI has an airport departure tax of $20 per person and a ferry departure tax of $20 per person payable on arrival. There is also an environmental tax of $10 per person payable on arrival. These fees are subject to change.
For prepaid reservations, you have to pay in advance with a valid credit card or by check. Please note that if payment is done with a credit card belonging to another person who will not be present at check-in, we will need written authorization from the credit card holder with a copy of the credit card and identification. For non- prepaid reservations, upon arrival, you can pay cash or credit card (VISA, MASTERCARD and AMEX).
Complimentary internet access is offered to all guests in their rooms and in certain dining areas. For login and password, please ask Reception. Because Long Bay is located on a remote island beach, we cannot guarantee the strength or availability of internet connection at any time.
Parking is available upon check-in with Reception. Please be prepared to provide your license plate number and car information. Parking space is free of charge and as such is available on a first come first serve basis.
Pets are not permitted in the rooms of the Hotel. LBBR is a proud supporter of PAW BVI, in the event you are interested in assisting with this animal rescue please contact us directly if you are interested.
If you travel with valuables, please request a room with a safe.

All rates are quoted in United States currency, plus hotel tax. Currently 10% but subject to change at any time. Rates may increase without notice. Rates as advertised on the Long Bay website or any other website or promotional material are subject to change at any time and may increase or decrease at the hotel’s discretion. Rates are based on Ground floor units ( 1-2 adults) and First Floor Units (1-2 adults) and are subject to availability.
The entire property is non-smoking except in designated areas. Candles, incense, essential oils (diffusing, vaporization, etc.) are prohibited, and these items and activities will be treated as smoking. Please note that guests found to be smoking in the room will be charged for a cleaning fee of 150 USD per day.
Right to Refuse Service
LBBR, including all hotel and restaurant operations, reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason(s) that does not violate the laws of the BVI. LBBR will refuse service to or evict a guest who is, for example but not limited to: refusing or failing to pay for accommodations; under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any other intoxicating substance and acting in a disorderly fashion as to disturb the peace of other guests; acting in a disorderly fashion as to disturb the peace of other guests; unable to properly supervise their children at all times; seeking to use the hotel for an unlawful purpose; seeking to bring into the hotel: an unlawfully possessed firearm or any materials damaging to the hotel grounds including an explosive or hazardous or toxic or foreign agricultural substance that is unlawful to possess and that may be dangerous to the environment, persons, or animals; destroying, damaging, defacing, or threatening harm to hotel property or guests; causing or permitting persons to exceed the maximum allowable occupancy of rooms; or refusing to abide by the reasonable standards or policies established by LBBR for the operation and management of our hotel.
Visitors must notify Reception upon their arrival. Visitors must be accompanied by a registered guest at all times. Visitors are not allowed to use guest amenities including beach chairs or Wi-Fi without the permission of LBBR. Additional fees may apply. As a registered guest, you are responsible for your visitor at all times.
Room occupancy is as follows: Ground floor and First floor rooms maximum occupancy is 2 adults and 1 child. If you exceed the maximum number of guests allowed, you will be asked to rent another guestroom for proper accommodations or vacate the hotel.
Children will have to sleep with parents in the same bed. Should you request an extra bed this would apply at $150 / per night for extra bed applicable on the ground floor rooms only. Requesting an extra bed is not available for first floor rooms at any given time. Limited inventory for extra bed, so this request can not be always guaranteed.
Lost & Found
LBBR assumes no liability for lost, misplaced, stolen, or damaged valuables or belongings. If you discover that you have lost or left something of value to you, please call us immediately (284) 345-1093and we will try to assist you in locating your lost items.
LBBR is not responsible for any item left behind by a guest. However, any item, with the exception of perishable items, underwear, and miscellaneous toiletries, found by Housekeeping after departure will be collected, logged in, and kept in a secure location for collection by the owner for up to fourteen (14) days. Reasonable effort will be made to notify the guest that an item was found. Perishable items, underwear, and miscellaneous toiletries are discarded.
We are happy to return your forgotten items. Please note that shipping from Tortola can be slow and expensive. Your credit card will be charged packaging and postage, plus a $10.00 handling fee. A separate receipt will be sent to you. LBBR is not responsible for any item lost or misdirected during shipment.
Damage/ Theft of Hotel Property
You are liable for any damage howsoever caused (whether by the deliberate, negligent, or reckless act) to the room (s), hotel’s premises or property caused by you or any person in your party whether or not staying at the hotel during your stay. LBBR reserves the right to retain your credit card and/or debit card details as presented at registration and charge or debit the credit / debit card such amounts as it shall in its sole discretion deem necessary to compensate or make good the cost or expenses incurred or suffered by LBBR as a result of the aforesaid. Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right and you hereby authorize us to charge your credit or debit card for any damage incurred to your room or the Hotel property during your stay, including and without limitation for all property damage, missing or damaged items, smoking fee, cleaning fee, guest compensation, etc. We will make every effort to rectify any damage internally prior to contracting specialists to make the repairs, and therefore will make every effort to keep any costs that the guest would incur to a minimum.
Changes or Modifications to Hotel Policies
LBBR reserves the right to amend, modify, change, cancel, vary or add to its Hotel Policy or the arrangements and content featured on our Hotel website at any time without prior notice. Please check our website regularly for updates. Any modification to these Hotel Policy/House Rules that occurs before your departure is considered a part of your reservation agreement with us. A copy of the Policy is available upon request at email@example.com.
Long Bay shall not be liable and will not be held responsible for failing to meet obligations under this contract where any non-performance of the whole or part of the contract results from any force majeure or from circumstances outside its control and not occasioned by any fault or negligence on its part. It is hereby specified that force majeure shall be considered to include, but is not limited to, social conflicts, hurricanes, tropical storms, cyclones, natural disasters, pandemics, delayed planes, etc. affecting or leading to the complete or partial suspension of obligations under this contract or obstructing the performance thereof. Guests are encouraged to buy trip insurance to safeguard against unforeseen circumstances.
