Q: How far are we from Beef Island Airport and from the Ferry Dock at West End?

A: When flying to St. Thomas, you will take a 45-minute ferry to West End, Tortola. Roundtrip transfers are NOT INCLUDED. Cost from Tortola Airport is $23 per person Roundtrip.

FREE FERRY TRANSFERS For stays of 5 nights or more ferry service is INCLUDED, for stays less than 5 nights the roundtrip cost is $25.00 per person (not combinable with special offers). Flights via St. Thomas: If you arrive via St. Thomas, ferry service is available between downtown Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas and Road Town, Tortola. Getting to the next ferry is very easy - just take a taxi (approx. 5 mins) at the St. Thomas Airport and let the taxi driver know that you need to take the Road Town Fast FerryT to Tortola. You will arrive at the Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas ferry port, enjoy a mini-cruise past St. John's (USVI), Jost Van Dyke and Little Thatch islands before arriving at the immigration station at Road Town, Tortola. Taxis are readily available from Road Town to the Long Bay Beach Resort cost is $25.00 for two people.

Ferries only operate during daylight hours - so the last ferry is usually around 4pm. To ensure a smooth transfer make sure and arrange your flights to arrive in time for transfers. There are many ferry service operators and two different ports. This offer is only valid from Charlotte Amalie, St Thomas ferry port using Road Town Fast FerryT service operator.

Q: How far is the beach from the accommodations?

A: Beachfront Cabana and Beachfront Deluxe are just steps from our beautiful mile long white Sandy Beach. Villas, Hillside Ocean View Deluxe, Jacuzzi Jr. Suite, 3-4 minute walk. Estate Homes require the rental of a vehicle.

Q: Do you have Car rental facilities and what are the rates?

A: We have National and Dollar Car Rentals.

Q: Is there Golfing Nearby?

A: No, the nearest golf course is in St. Thomas Mahagony Run Golf Course.

Q: Do you have a Dive Center?

A: Yes we use our neighbor “Dive Tortola”. We offer Dive pacakges or you can see more detailed info at www.divetortola.com

Q: Can you recommend a good charter company for daily sails?

Q: What is the procedure for getting married in Tortola?

A: The bridal couple should allow three days prior to the wedding date to be on the island. Couples must attend Tortola’s registrar’s office to purchase $110 of   postage stamps to declare residential status and complete and sign a declaration stating that the information they are giving is correct. Please note the registrar’s office is not open on weekends or public holidays. If there is any doubt as to either person’s single status, it may be necessary to swear an affidavit before a solicitor (approximately US$40 each).

Q: Are there Laundry Facilities for guests to use?

A: There are no Facilities but we do offer laundry service for an additional    charge.

Q: Are barbeques available in the Villas?

A: No, Barbeques are available in the estates only.

Q: Are Cribs available?

A: Yes, at no additional charge

Q: Is there a kids club and is babysitting available?

A: We do not have a kids club but nanny service is available for $15 per hour for up to 2 children and 24 hour advance notice is required.

Q: Are there kitchen Facilities in the rooms?

A: Yes, all rooms and villas have a kitchentte with mini fridge, coffee pot, toaster/ toaster oven, TV, VCR and Iron and ironing board.

Q: I have allergies to some foods, can the chef prepare meals to suit?

A: Please contact us with your specific allergy and we can check with the Chef regarding such meals.

Q: What is the dress code?

A: In the restaurants, shoes are worn and bathing suits covered. After 7pm, men      wear collared shirts and short or long sleeves (no T-shirts or tank tops) and      slacks (no shorts or jeans); and women wear dresses, skirts, slacks, culottes, or tailored Bermuda-length shorts (no “short-shorts,” cutoffs, or jeans).

Q: Do I need a converter for appliances?

A: We use 110V 2 Pin US style

Q: Are passports need for Travel to Tortola?

A: You will need to bring proof of citizenship (passport, or original or certified copy of birth certificate along with valid government issued I.D.) to enter Tortola. After December 31, 2006 all travelers MUST have a Passport for travel to the Caribbean.

Q: What is the Departure tax?

A: Govt. departure tax of US$20, per person, payable at the airport, is NOT INCLUDED.

Q: Are Microwaves available in the rooms or at the resort?

A: Sorry, microwaves are not offered in the rooms.
