Q: How far are we from Beef Island Airport and from the Ferry Dock at West End?
A: When flying to St. Thomas, you will take a 45-minute ferry to West End, Tortola. Roundtrip transfers are NOT INCLUDED. Cost from Tortola Airport is $23 per person Roundtrip.
Flights via St. Thomas: If you arrive via St. Thomas, ferry service is available between downtown Charlotte
Amalie, St. Thomas and Road Town, Tortola. Getting to the next ferry is very easy - just take a taxi (approx. 5 mins) at the St. Thomas
Airport and let the taxi driver know that you need to take the Road Town Fast FerryT to Tortola. You will arrive at the Charlotte Amalie,
St. Thomas ferry port, enjoy a mini-cruise past St. John's (USVI), Jost Van Dyke and Little Thatch islands before arriving at the immigration
station at Road Town, Tortola. Taxis are readily available from Road Town to the Long Bay Beach Club cost is $25.00 for two people.
Ferries only operate during daylight hours - so the last ferry is usually around 4pm. To ensure a smooth transfer make sure and arrange
your flights to arrive in time for transfers.

Q: What is the procedure for getting married in Tortola?
A: The bridal couple should allow one day prior to the wedding date to be on the island. Couples must attend Tortolas registrars office to purchase $110 of postage stamps to declare residential status and complete and sign a declaration stating that the information they are giving is correct. Please note the registrars office is not open on weekends or public holidays. If there is any doubt as to either persons single status, it may be necessary to swear an affidavit before a solicitor (approximately US$40 each).
Q: Are there Laundry Facilities for guests to use?
A: There are no Facilities but we do offer laundry service for an additional charge.

A: We do not have a kids club but nanny service is available for $15 per hour for up to 2 children and 24 hour advance notice is required.

A: Yes, all rooms have a mini fridge, coffee pot, toaster/ toaster oven, TV, VCR and Iron and ironing board.
Q:Do you cater to vegetarians and vegans?
A: We offer a wide variety of menu and dining choices, which include some vegetable and vegetarian dishes. However, our vegetable and vegetarian dishes may include ingredients that are not vegan, as we do not cater specifically to a vegan diet. Due to the all-inclusive nature of the resort, we are not able to arrange private meetings with the Chef, or create individualized menus or meal plans for our guests. Q:I have a restricted diet due to allergies, dietary restriction or special dietary preference. How will this affect my stay?
A: We frequently receive questions regarding special dietary needs, restrictions or preferences. In an all-inclusive setting, we are not able to accommodate individually tailored meals for specific guests. We do offer a wide variety of meal choices, which includes salads, fresh fruits and vegetables, and vegetarian options. However, we are not able to cater to specific individual needs such as vegan, gluten free, allergen free, religious observance, or similar custom made dishes.

The Resort's food and beverage outlets use wholesome ingredients, which may include peanuts, tree nuts, seeds, shellfish, shrimp, seafood, soy, milk, wheat, and other potential allergens. Due to the large scale of the Resort?s food and beverage operations, the Resort cannot guarantee that food items will not come in contact with potential allergens even if a particular food does not normally include such ingredients. Guests with food allergies or dietary restrictions should be advised accordingly and take precautions. Q: What is the dress code?
A: In the restaurant, shoes are worn and bathing suits covered. After 7pm, men wear collared shirts and short or long sleeves (no T-shirts or tank tops) and slacks (no shorts or jeans); and women wear dresses, skirts, slacks, culottes, or tailored Bermuda-length shorts (no short-shorts, cutoffs, or jeans).

Q: Are passports need for Travel to Tortola?
A: You will need to bring proof of citizenship (passport, or original or certified copy of birth certificate along with valid government issued I.D.) to enter Tortola. After December 31, 2006 all travelers MUST have a Passport for travel to the Caribbean.

A: Govt. departure tax of US$20, per person, payable at the airport, is NOT INCLUDED.
